Semnan Iran (Islamic Republic of) +98 23 1444 0225 amir822@yahoo.com Semnan University of Medical Sciences Iran (Islamic Republic of) inclusion criteria: unilateral functional ankle instability after ankle sprain; age between 20-40 years; 1-12 mount before had ankle sprain;control group will be from the same sex and age of experiment group exclusion criteria: subjects will be excluded from the study if they had: acute inflammatory conditions;gross joint instability (grade 3 ankle sprain);concurrent ankle fractures with or without subluxation, dislocation or complete rupture; surgery for ankle injury;recurrent ankle sprain; any anomaly of the foot; history of chronic diseases or other injuries of the lower limb. 20 years 40 years Both S93.4 sprain and strain of ankle N/A Treatment - Other intervention in control group : without intervention intervention in intervention group : intervention is taping with kinesio tape. this technique is performed with kind of tape without latex which mimicking the qualities of the skin.this tape will be applicated in tibialis anterior and will be removed after 24 hours. The sway of center of pressure during perturbation and non-perturbation situations. Timepoint: prior to tape application, immediately after application of the tape, 24 hours following tape application, and immediately after tape removal. Method of measurement: with force plate.
