This research is a non-randomized clinical trial study which aims to determine education on nurses' intention to report child abuse. Inclusion criteria included Voluntary participation and having a minimum of six months experience and Exclusion criteria included Unwillingness to continue participating in the study. The research environment will be selected hospitals with pediatric and emergency ward and the research community will be nurses in emergency and pediatric departments. Sampling is non-random and will be conducted by providing call in Iran university of Medical Science hospitals, Tehran University of Medical Science hospitals and private hospitals with pediatric and emergency departments and based on nurses willing to participate in this study. Researcher will conduct research after obtaining the permissions from the universities and hospitals and consent of participants and then the questionnaire will be given to the participants in the study. The instrument used in research is child abuse report intention scale (Child Abuse Report Intention Scale) questionnaire which was designed by Feng and was used in 2005. After the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, it will be distributed to subjects and it will be collected after completion. participant Nurses are divided into two control and intervention groups. The intervention group before and 4 weeks after training, will complete questionnaire and the control group will be enrolled in research among nurses in hospitalts that the intervention group don’t present there. the control group will complete the questionnaire In two times with an interval of 4 weeks. The relevant authorities and nurses (intervention and control groups) are assured that the learning package and results of the research will be available if they like.
Training will be presented using video projectors, computers and PowerPoint in the form of group discussions, work in small groups by faculty members of nursing specialty and medical experts and at the end of the session, the learning package will be given to participants Then we will be ensured from study of educational contents by phone to nurses .Training workshop will be held on 2 separate days and 2 group of 23 (total 46). Content of education program includes: child abuse and types of it, risk factors of child abuse, signs and symptoms of child abuse, the reporting method of child abuse and resources of child support.

Description
