The aim of this study was to determine the effect of local Dexamethasone injection to reduce inter appointment pain in endodontic treatment. Sixty patient referred to endodontic department of dental faculty of Hamadan University with need to root canal therapy in posterior teeth randomly divided to two groups. At the end of first treatment session, in group one, 2cc of dexamethasone (Alborz Co) and in group two 2cc of ringer serum were injected in buccal vestibule of teeth. The post operative pain in two groups were measured and compared.
